I can understand that there is good reason for that- FIFA 98В simply requires an 8 button gamepad to really enjoy. What isn't so fine is the fact that I could not change button assignments. You can reach any menu from within any other menu with one mouse click, which is fine and dandy. It uses the Mondial 98 mascot (that silly blue bird), which enters the screen in all sorts of amusing ways if you don't do anything for a while. FIFA 98 's menu interface is slick, similar in many ways to the one used in FIFA Soccer ManagerВ (does anyone know what actually happened to this one?).
